ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Up to 90 individuals are required for each camp session in a variety of volunteer roles.
  • You must be 15 years of age or older to become a volunteer.
  • Annual updates of Health History, Confidentiality, and Criminal Background Checks, for those 18 and older, are required. $25.00 is requested to cover the background check.

Online Volunteer Training (West Coast) @ The training will be held via Go To Meeting and participants will need video and audio capabilities.
Sep 25 @ 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm

During this two and half hour training you will meet Comfort Zone staff and learn what to expect at camp and how our program impact grieving children. You will receive education about childhood bereavement, and we’ll give you tips on how to be successful in whichever volunteer role you are selected to fill. For volunteers attending the online training, additional follow up with Comfort Zone staff is required before attending a 3-day program. This class starts at 5PM PST.
