During this six hour training you will meet Comfort Zone Camp staff and volunteers who will explain what to expect at camp and how our program impacts grieving children and teens. You will receive education about childhood bereavement, and we’ll give you tips on how to be successful in whichever volunteer role you are selected to fill. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Up to 90 individuals are required for each camp session in

Online Volunteer Training (East Coast)

When: September 26, 2019 @ 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Where: The training will be held via Go To Meeting and participants will need video and audio capabilities.

During this two and half hour training you will meet Comfort Zone staff and learn what to expect at camp and how our program impact grieving children. You will receive education about childhood bereavement, and we’ll give you tips on how to be successful in whichever volunteer role you are selected to fill. For volunteers attending the online training, additional follow up with Comfort Zone staff is required before attending

When: September 25, 2019 @ 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm

2019 September NJ Volunteer Training

When: September 21, 2019 @ 9:00 am
Where: 120 Chestnut Street, Ridgewood, New Jersey 07451

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Up to 90 individuals are required for each camp session in a variety of volunteer roles. You must be 15 years of age or older to become a volunteer. Annual updates of Health History, Confidentiality, and Criminal Background Checks, for those 18 and older, are required. $25.00 is requested to cover the background check.
