What Is Comfort Zone

Comfort Zone Camp is a national nonprofit organization that provides a safe and fun place
for kids grieving the death of a parent, guardian, or sibling. CZC offers FREE one-day family programs, community programs, and 3-day weekend camps. All programming empowers children to grieve, heal, and grow in healthy ways.

Support A Child By Volunteering

Volunteer Roles Include:

Big Buddy Mentor | Nurse | Grief Therapist | Photographer | Logistics Support

During this training session you will meet Comfort Zone staff and learn what to expect at camp and how our program impacts grieving children. You will receive education about childhood bereavement, and we’ll give you tips on how to be successful in whichever volunteer role you are selected to fill.

All volunteers must be 15 yrs or older, complete a Volunteer Training, and pass a background check.

**This training and the June camp program are made possible by a generous partnership with Blue H.E.L.P.. The June program serves families who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, or guardian to suicide who was a law enforcement officer.**

*This training is specifically for our June 5th-7th law enforcement officer loss by suicide camp in Sandwich, MA.
