Comfort Zone Camp, in partnership with The Mark Wandall Foundation, is pleased to be offering a modified in-person traditional program the weekend of Friday, April 30th – Sunday, May 2nd, 2021!
The camp will take place at Warren Willis in Fruitland Park, Florida. Campers ages 7-17 (18 if still in high school) and young adults ages 18-25 are eligible to attend. COVID protocols will be carefully followed (temperature checks, social distancing, proper sanitization, etc.). Masks are required to be worn when indoors; masks are NOT required when outdoors or while sleeping. Healing Circles will be smaller and referred to as “pods.” Pods will travel, eat, and sleep together throughout the weekend.
We will NOT be doing 1:1 Big Buddy matching. Instead, 2-3 Big Buddies will be assigned to each pod. This program model has been executed before and works very well – campers will still make great connections!
Campers will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis which entails the completion of all paperwork and screenings.
Please contact Callee Miller [ cmiller@comfortzonecamp.org ] if you have any questions regarding your child’s registration status! We can’t wait to see you in the camp “bubble” soon!
