In-Person Volunteer Training – Massachusetts

During this training you will meet Comfort Zone staff and learn what to expect at camp and how our program impacts grieving children. You will receive education about childhood bereavement, as well as tips on how to be successful in whichever volunteer role you are selected to fill at in-person or virtual camps. Saturday, September 9 at British International School of Boston from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm (EST)

Comfort Zone Camp (CZC) is a safe, fun place for grieving kids in the Richmond area who have lost a sibling, parent, or primary caretaker. Monday Night Virtual Support Group: program for ages 10-17; and parents/guardians

Virtual

Monday Evening Virtual Program for campers ages 10 - 17, (18 if still in high school) who have experienced the death of a parent, guardian, sibling, other relative, or friend.

Program will meet four consecutive Mondays (November 13, November 20, November 27, and December 4) from 7:00pm - 8:15pm EST via Zoom.

An optional separate parent/guardian group will take place simultaneously for those whose children are participating.

Virginia Weekend Camp: for ages 7-17

Jamestown 4-H Educational Center Williamsburg, VA

This program serves children ages 7-17 (18 if still in high school) who have lost a parent, guardian, sibling, or friend.
