Meet The Grief Relief Teammates

Lindsay Clay: The reason I am running the TCS New York Marathon for Comfort Zone Camp is because I have seen the impact that Comfort Zone Camp has had on people around me as well as my community. I want use running to raise awareness to an important cause, and the children that CZC supports are very important to me, and deserve to have hope! Read more about Lindsay’s story…

Alana DiMartino: After my father passed away suddenly when I was 7 years old, running became a healthy outlet for me to cope. I continued to foster this passion of mine and it became a way for my family and I to bond with each other. Shortly after my father’s passing, I became a camper at Comfort Zone Camp-this camp provided me with the tools I needed to heal and grow from such a traumatic event. I made long-lasting friendships and even came back as a Big Buddy to help campers grieve healthily. Comfort Zone has provided me with skills I will use for the rest of my life, and I cannot wait to provide this opportunity to more children who need it by raising money!
