Utah Weekend Camp: program for ages 7-17 in partnership with Intermountain Healthcare
This program serves children ages 7-17 (18 if still in high school) who have lost a parent, guardian, sibling, or friend.
West Virginia Weekend Camp: for ages 7-17; with optional parent/guardian program
This program serves children ages 7-17 (18 if still in high school) who have lost a parent, guardian, sibling or friend.
This camp will include a separate optional parent/guardian overnight weekend program.
Wednesday Night Virtual Support Group: program for ages 10-17; and parents/guardians
Program will meet four consecutive Wednesdays (February 1, February 8, February 15, and February 22) from 7:00pm – 8:15pm EST via Zoom. Wednesday Evening Virtual Program for campers ages 10 – 17, (18 if still in high school) who have experienced the death of a parent, guardian, sibling, other relative, or friend. An optional separate parent/guardian group will take place simultaneously for those whose children are participating.
Virginia Young Adult Retreat: program for ages 18-25
The Weekend Overnight Young Adult Retreat program is designed for participants to join peers in a rustic camp retreat setting where discussions and activities are facilitated by a trained grief specialist. Throughout the weekend, participants take part in conversations surrounding their loss and are able to share how grief changes as they reach life’s milestones.
Big Bear, CA at Camp Oakes in Partnership with OneLegacy
This free program serves children ages 7-17 (18 if still in high school) who have lost a parent, guardian, or sibling who was part of OneLegacy.
Salt Lake City, UT at Camp Kostopulos in Partnership with Intermountain Healthcare
This program serves children ages 7-17 (18 if still in high school) who have lost a parent, guardian, or sibling and who have received services through Intermountain Healthcare, The Bradley Center, and/or The Sharing Place.
Divide, CO at Golden Bell Camp in Partnership with The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation
This program serves children ages 7-17 (18 if still in high school) who have lost a parent, guardian, or sibling who was a fallen firefighter in the line of duty.
Monday Night Virtual Support Group: programs for ages 10-17; plus young adult and parent/guardian programs
Comfort Zone Camp is running Virtual Support Groups on Monday evenings starting February 2nd and ending February 23. They will run from 7:00 pm to 8:15 pm and will serve campers 10 – 25. An optional parent/guardian program will take place simultaneously for those whose children are participating.
Mechanicsville, VA at Camp Hanover in Partnership with the Brave of Heart Fund
This free program serves children ages 7-17 (18 if still in high school) who have lost a parent/guardian, sibling, or other significant loss. This camp is made possible by a generous partnership with the Brave of Heart Fund. *Priority is given to families of healthcare workers who died from COVID. All loss types are accepted based on availability.
Wading River, NY at Camp DeWolfe in Partnership with Brave of Heart Fund
This program specifically serves children ages 7-17 (18 if still in high school) as well as young adults ages 18-25 who have experienced a death of a parent, sibling, guardian or friend. This camp is made possible by a generous partnership with the Brave of Heart Fund. *Priority is given to families of healthcare workers who died from COVID. All loss types are accepted based on availability.
