During this training you will meet Comfort Zone staff and learn what to expect at camp and how our program impacts grieving children. You will receive education about childhood bereavement, as well as tips on how to be successful in whichever volunteer role you are selected to fill at in-person or virtual camps.

The training will be held via Zoom and is interactive. This is a two-night training; you must attend both nights and are required to be present with audio and video capabilities.

Comfort Zone Camp is running Virtual Support Groups on Monday evenings starting July 7th and ending July 28th. They will run from 7:00 pm to 8:15 pm and will serve campers 10 – 17 (18 if still in high school). An optional parent/guardian program will take place simultaneously for those whose children are participating.
